About the Writers

June Finfer is a playwright and lyricist whose play, The Glass House, starring Harris Uhlin and Janet Zarish, was produced by New York’s Resonance Theatre on Theatre Row.  She is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, the Writers Guild of America, and Chicago Writers Bloc. She is founding president of Lost and Found Productions, a 501 (c) 3 not for profit media and event producing organization which produced centennial events for the poet E.E. Cummings, as well as numerous award-winning documentaries about architecture and art, including Tugendhat House: Mies van der Rohe’s Czech Masterpiece.  She is a graduate of Northwestern University Theatre Department and has a Master’s Degree in Language and Literature from the University of Chicago.

doyleElizabeth Doyle is a composer, lyricist and performer.  A featured guest on Marian McPartland’s NPR program Piano Jazz, she was the magnet for many years at Chicago’s famed Pump Room and has performed across the United States and  Europe.   Her work has been featured in New York ASCAP new music programs, Disney/ASCAP in California, the Chicago Humanities Festival, at Park West, and in a Preston Bradley program honoring songwriters.  Some of her musicals include the just published Sleepy Hollow, Fat Tuesday, Alice In Analysis,  The Virginian,  and Duo, which was performed at Steppenwolf Theater. Her song “Down with Winter” was heard on BBC Radio.  She has two CDs available, “Elizabeth Doyle” and “Time Flies.”
